Seven State Governors To Storm Abuja For Presidential Golf Tourney

SEVEN STATE GOVERNORS TO STORM ABUJA FOR THE FCT PRESIDENTIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Ibb golf & country club will come alive when seven states governors storms the fct for the annual fct presidential golf tournament slated for the 2nd of February in Abuja.

Confirming this is the 2nd vice chairman fct golf association & the chairman media & publicity fct golf association Mr Clinton Agbor Ayuk who stated that the aim of the championship is to make golf become a household name in the fct which is one of the mandates given to them during their inauguration as board members of the fct golf association.

The association which recently met with government & private secondary schools to drive home their mandate will also attract participants from every works of life including artisans & market women, as well over 250 golfers have indicated interests within & outside the shores of the country to be part of the tournament.

It is understood that the chairman of the association Mr Oladipo Mohammad has established contact with a Scotland golf company to provide fairly used kits to the association all in a bid to enhance the game of golf in the fct.

Gift items will be presented to participants at the end of the day but no price money will be attached to those playing from the amateur level.

The trophy will be dedicated to the president of the federal republic of Nigeria, President Muhammad Buhari for doing so well in sports & their aim is develop the game of golf in the country according to the organisers.
