Sevilla join Barcelona in tracking Super Eagles star Umar Sadiq

Spanish Laliga giants Sevilla have join the race to sign Almeria lanky striker Umar Sadiq, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Lanky striker complete a move Almeria from Partizan Belgrade in October 2020, and since then, he has cemented his place as arguably the best player at Almeria and one of the deadliest strikers in Spanish football. Last season, the Nigerian star scored twenty goals for the Rojiblancos in Liga 2 appearances. Unfortunately, his goals were not enough to guide them to the Spanish Primera division. This season, Umar has continued with his brilliance, scoring ten goals in 22 Laliga2 appearances. His impressive form has caught the eyes of La Liga giants Barcelona and new English money-bags Newcastle United, with both sides reportedly preparing a bid for the 192cm-tall forward in January. Indeed, the Andalusian club would be very interested in Umar Sadiq. Aged 25, the latter is currently playing under the colors of Almeria where he is linked until June 2025.
