Sevilla Join The Race For To Sign Super Eagles Striker By Oluwayemi Omolagba Sevilla have joined the race to sign Almeria of Spain and Super Eagles striker, Umar Sadiq, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Umar joined Almeria from Partizan Belgrade in October 2020, and since then, he has cemented his place as arguably the best player at Almeria and one of the deadliest strikers in Spanish football. Last season, the Nigerian star scored twenty goals for the Rojiblancos in 38 La Liga 2 appearances. Unfortunately, his goals were not enough to guide them to the Spanish Primera division. The Super Eagles star’s brilliant displays have not gone unnoticed. Last summer, Umar was linked to Barcelona and Newcastle, but nothing concrete emerged from those talks. However as per Les Transfert, Sevilla are in pursuit of the lanky forward. Estimated at 18 million euros on the transfer market, the native of Kaduna has scored eleven goals this season and delivered eight assists in 24 games.
