Former Super Eagles player Emmanuel Okocha has maintained his confidence in the Coach Gernot Rohr’s Super Eagles team ahead of Saturday’s qualifier clash against Seychelles, BSN Sports reports.
Speaking in a chat with brila.net, the former player said that the coach should be able to bring up a different atmosphere and instill confidence in the boys despite the injury concerns.
Earlier, we reported that the trio of William Troost-Ekong, Olaoluwa Aina and Arsenal’s Alexander Iwobi have pulled out of the clash due to injuries sustained over the weekend.
Okocha also noted that changes will always come, but remains confident that Nigeria will still get it right against their opponent Seychelles this weekend.
Coach Gernot Rohr earlier today opened the Super Eagles camp ahead of the must-win encounter and as at the time of this publication, 12 players are already in camp.
The Super Eagles will on Saturday take on Hosts Seychelles in an African Cup of Nations qualifier clash.
