Shanghai Shenhua Unveil Martins

Ahead of the new Chinese Super league season, Shanghai Shenhua has unveiled former Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Martins few days ago rejoined Shanghai Shenhua as a replacement for on loaned Odion Ighalo after he left the club in May 2019 due to injury.

He was unveiled alongside 2 newly recruited players of the club and was also given jersey number 17 for the new season.

The first spell of the former Nigeria international proved fruitful has he netted 19 goals in 40 appearances for the club.

It's remained unseen if Martins will stay beyond January 2021 when Ighalo loan deal with Manchester United will expired.
