Shorunmu Solicits Support For Super Eagles’ Interim Manager, Eguavoen

Former Nigerian goalkeeper, Ike Shorunmu has urged Nigerians to support the newly appointed interim coach of the Super Eagles, Augustine Eguavoen to achieve positive result at the fast-approaching 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
Shorunmu stated this in an interview, where he commended the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for taking such bold decision and asked Eguavoen to swing into action owing to the limited time frame left before the commencement of AFCON 2021.
Eguavoen was announced as interim coach of the Super Eagles on Sunday after the NFF officially sacked Gernot Rohr as the Super Eagles coach.

in Cameroon 9th January – 6th February 2022, and until the appointment of a substantive Head Coach.
