Siasia Mum Kidnap: Relevant Agencies Are At Work - Sunday Dare

Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr Sunday Dare has assured Nigerians that the kidnaped mother of former Super Eagles Coach, Samson Siasia will regain her freedom from the hand of the kidnappers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Siasia mum with other two families were kidnapped in Bayelsa state for about two months and are yet to regain their freedom despite pleas from Siasia and Nigerians to release the 82-year old woman.

Minister of Sports said he is not unaware of Siasia mum kidnap adding that the relevant security agencies are working tirelessly in making sure they bring her back to the family alive.

"I just arrived New York and noted conversations around SiaSia. I recall he came to visit me but I was unavailable. I subsequently sent him a sorry note to which he responded. The relevant agencies are at work. We hope they yield results as they have on many previous occasions.
Our prayers are with SiaSia and his family over these developments. SiaSia served the country well. A football veteran no doubt."
