  Sierra Leone 0-0 Nigeria: Drop In FIFA Rankings Looms As Eagles Fail To Win In 4 Games By Niyi Busari The Super Eagles of Nigeria have failed to defeat their group L counterparts, Sierra Leone after a 0-0 draw in Freetwon, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The result will definitely and surely affect the Nigeria national team on the November FIFA rankings. The Leone Stars who last featured in the African Nations Cup in 1996 had staged a wonderful comeback in a 4-4 draw four days earlier at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. Despite their inability to get a win in the double header, Nigeria is still topping the group with 8 points from 4 games as Burkina Faso followed in the second position with 7 points having drawn 0-0 with Lesotho earlier on Tuesday. Nigeria have failed to win a match in their 4 games,having lost to Algeria, drew with Tunisia and also drew 4-4 and 0-0 with Sierra Leone. Nigeria was ranked recently 29th in the world but dropped to 32nd after their failure to win in two consecutive games.
