    Sierra Leone FA President Take U17 Players Out On Shopping Spree By Editor The Sierra Leone Football Association President, Madam Isha Johansen, together with the federation's General Secretary, Christopher Kamara, on Friday took the National U-17 boys (Sierra Stars) out on a shopping spree in appreciation of their heroic performance in last week’s international friendly matches against Liberia. According to the statement from the federation made available to BSN Sports, each of the 30 boys carted home One Million Five Hundred Thousand Leone (Le 1,500,000) worth of groceries from the prestigious St. Mary’s Supermarket at Hill Station in Freetown. Watching the boys as they joyously scramble over different food items at the Supermarket, President Johansen said to them, ”It always gives me great pleasure seeing young boys like you trying to chase your dreams. I see a brighter future ahead of the Nation’s football.” ”Your performance in Liberia is a clear indication that better days are indeed yet to come in Sierra Leone.” Johansen Said. Sierra Leone National U-17 boys emerged victorious in all of their three friendly matches in Liberia last week, the two (match day 1 and 3) which were against their Liberian counterparts, ended 2-3 and 1-2 in favour of Sierra Leone and in day 2, Sierra Stars defeated the Liberian based Discoveries Soccer Accademy by 1-5. The highly motivated boys have moved back to camp at Hill Valley Hotel as they prepare to undergo the Magnetic Resonance Imagine (MRI) test tomorrow ahead of the CAF U17 Qualifier to be hosted in Sierra Leone, next month.
