Sierra Leone Football Association Suspends All Activities

The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) have announced the suspension of all football related activities in the country due to the spread of the coronavirus.

No confirmed coronavirus cases have been found in Sierra Leone as of March 17th, however both its neighboring countries, Liberia and Guinea, have one case each, BSN Reports.

As a result the SLFA have revealed in an official statement that all football related activities will be suspended, with no determined return date.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak all continental competitions were postponed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), such as the 2021 AFCON qualifiers and the 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

If not the virus issues, Leone stars supposed to face Nigeria's Super Eagles in the 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier in a double header this March.
