Silas Optimistic Rangers Will See off Bantu FC in CAF Confederation Cup Round of 32

Nigeria sole representative in the CAF Confederation Cup, Rangers wingers, Bright Silas is confident that the Flying Antelope will defeat Bantu FC and qualify for the group stages, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Speaking on Thursday after the day’s training session inside Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium, pint sized Silas said that motivation from the management, coaches and financiers of the team coupled with self determination from the players were the reasons for his belief for a group stage appearance ahead of the Sourthern African side that got eliminated from the CAF Champions league by D.R. Congo side, A.S Vita club 5-2 on aggregate.
Silas who has three goals already in the competition said: “We know that our opponents would be a tough side but with our collective zeal and determination, we shall be winners in this round and qualify for the group stage.”
The Jos, Plateau state brought up ball juggler further stated, “Our fans should expect good football from us and by God’s grace and the training regime we are being put through, we shall have a good game with victory our target.”
Silas admitted having little knowledge about the Lesotho side but was confident that he and his team mates would get the needed result in Maseru to make the return leg a mere formality stressing, “Motivation is not lacking here as the management and government are doing their best to ensure we are comfortable moreover, we are playing for ourselves and families back home. All we desire from our supporters are prayers and continued belief as we go for the group stage ticket.
Rangers would be making the trip to Lesotho next week for the encounter slated for Sunday, January 13, 2019 in Maseru against the two- time and seven-time Lesotho league and cup champion coached by thirty-two years old South African, James Madidilane.
