Slovenia club sack Nigerian player for impregnating club president's daughter

A second division club in Slovenia has decided to terminate the contract of one Nigeria player for impregnating the daughter of the club president.

Four Nigeria players Bede Osuji Temitope Nelson, Gerald Chiyoke and Sulaiman Adedoja are presently on the payroll of the club but the club's name is withheld for the fear of backlash.

The player concerned has returned back to Nigeria while three other players are still in Slovenia .

The midfielder while speaking with journalist in Nigeria said:

"I signed a 3 year deal with the option of another but last month I ran into trouble when my girlfriend who happened to be the daughter of club president said she is pregnant for me.

"The club got to know about it and summoned me for a meeting, I got there and I was told to stay at home and not to be seen around the club premises until am instructed to return .

"A week later I was called to the office and told that my agent has been informed about their plan to terminate my contract for gross misconduct and indiscipline . The news came to me as a surprise because I have not been found wanting in any area since I arrived the club some months ago." He stated

The player further co firmed that is so soldering a legal action at FIFA over the claims.
