Sodje Wants More Friendly Games For Super Eagles By Sampson Adedeji Former Super Eagles defender Sam Sodje has urged the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to organise more preparatory games for Super Eagles, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The 3-time African champion were in action in March during the just concluded 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Squirrel of Benin Republic and Lesotho. They last participated in the international friendly match against African champion Algeria and Carthage Eagles of Tunisia. Sodje while speaking on Brila fm Lagos said the football body should organise more game in order to put the team in shape for the forthcoming 2022 World Cup qualifier. “It’s always nice to come together sometimes and play games with the date been changed. Definitely I’m sure the NFF will know that we will need grade A games just to get the boys ready and same time we still need a system of play and playing more games will help us know the system." "So I’m expecting them to play more friendly games," he told brila. Super Eagles will return to competitive action in September when the FIFA World Cup qualifiers starts across Africa.
