Solskjaer Vows To Monitor Nigerian Duo, Other Academy Players

Manchester United have one of the best academies in the world producing legends like Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Paul Scholes and currently Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba and more.
At the academy, there are amazing Nigerians who are hoping to make it to the first team. Players like Shola Shoretire, who is rated so high by the club and also Dillon Hoogewerf, with the two strikers making their competitive debuts for the U-23 team at the age of sixteen.

The good news is that manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has opened the door of the first team for players who can break in.
Ole said: "That should always be part of being a Manchester United Academy player, knowing the pathway is there," Solskjaer said to United's official website . "We, as coaching staff and as a club, will always give good, young players a chance if they go through the ranks, when you're getting ready to get the chance to have a feel of the first team as well."

"Hopefully, some really improve over the course of the season and get in and around the first team."

Manchester United plays Crystal Palace in what will be their Match Day 1 of the 2020/2021 season of the English Premier League.
