AFCON qualifier: Rohr mute on two disallowed goals Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr has refused to comment on the awful decision by the two lines-men and the centre referee, Papa Gassama in the Match-day 5 of the African Cup of Nations, between South Africa and Nigeria in Joannesburg on Saturday, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Gambian centre referee, Gassama disallowed two on-side goals in either half of the game, hence denied the Super Eagles the three points from the encounter. In an interview with Nigerian ace journalist, Samuel Adepoju in Joannesburg after the match, Rohr said: "I was told our two goals are not offside but I don't discuss referees and officiating," said Rohr. However, South Africa Bafana Bafana head coach, Stuart Baxter claimed his team was robbed by the referees adding that his team would have won the game if the match officials were fair in their decisions. "The referees were harsh on us, if not, we would have come out victorious," Baxter said.
