South-South Set For Enahoro Cup

SOUTH SOUTH YOUTH SET FOR ENAHORO CUP.. By Editor No fewer than twenty four youth teams drawn from the six states of South South Nigeria are set to hit Benin city for the 7,Edition of Chief Anthony Enahoro CFR memorial youth soccer tournament. The event slated for next month in Benin city, is for under 19 boys and girls in the zone, and will be organised by the franchise owners the Nigeria federation of Youth soccer clubs( FEYSOC) south south zone, with the winners in both category having a playing tour of an African and European country in 2019. According to feysoc spokes zonal coordinator Joseph isokpehi, the tournament is in honour and memory of chief Anthony Enahoro. " You will agree with me that late chief Anthony Enahoro CFR was a founding father of the present day Nigeria, fought for the independence of our great country and other freedom fighters from across Nigeria, he was a federal commissioner for information, sports, copretatives, in the 50's, he was a lover of the youths. It would be recalled that chief Anthony Enahoro CFR was a patron of feysoc and single handedly sponsor the football tournament from 2007 until his demise. The zonal coordinator however ask for support from the general public, the organised private sector to assist In any capacity to for a successful tournament.
