Southampton are interested in signing Changchun Yatai hitman Odion Ighalo this month, but they will face competition from Turkish outfit Fenerbahce, BSNSports.com.ng.

The Ajegunle born hitman has experience of playing in Premier League, having scored 40 goals in 100 appearances for the Hornets, and he would be a really useful addition for the Saints.

Whether Southampton can beat Fenerbahce in the race for his signature, however, remains to be seen.
