Spanish La Liga: Awaziem, Omeruo's coach sacked

After poor run of results in the Spanish La Liga this season, the coach of Nigeria's Super Eagles duo of Kenneth Omeruo and Chidozie Awaziem at CD Leganes has been sacked, BSNSports.cum.ng can report.

BSN reports that Leganes suffered a 1-2 defeat last weekend to Getafe and the team have been in relegation water occupying the last spot on the league table with just two points in 8 matches,

Leganes on Monday parted ways with Argentine coach Mauricio Pellegrino by mutual consent.

C.D. Leganés further wishes Mauricio and his coaching staff the best of lucks in the future and thanks them for the work done during the time as managers of the cucumber squad.

Luis Cembranos and Carlos Martinez, who until now were C.D. Leganés B's coaches, will be in charge of managing the team in the next sessions.
