Spanish La Liga Club Eye Super Eagles Forward

Few days to the opening of transfer window across Europe, Spanish La Liga club Real Betis have joined the hosts of European top teams jostling for the services of Nigeria's Super Eagles striker, Simy Nwankwo, BSNSports.com.ng can reports.
The lanky attacker was the cynosure of all eyes in the just concluded Italia Serie A season as he netted 20 league goals for relegated FC Crotone.
As the new league season approaches, numerous clubs recognised potential of Simy who also emerged the top scorer of the Serie B for the same club in the penultimate season.
Two Italia Serie sides Genoa and Lazio have contacted Crotone on a temporary basis for Simy but according to the reports on Wednesday, Betis have made a strong approach for the player.
Simy broke various record in the just concluded season, overtaking Obafemi Martins as the Nigeria player with highest number of goals in the Serie A.
Martins scored 28 times in 88 matches for Inter Milan, while Simy ended with 30 goals, all in the colours of Crotone.
