Spanish Segunda: Nwakali Debuts in Huesca Defeat

Nigeria's U23 midfielder Kelechi Nwakali fully made his debut in the Spanish Segunda division for his club SD Husca after a long wait.

Huesca lost 1-2 to 6th placed Mirandes at the Estadio El Alcoras.

Nwakali joined the Spanish side on a permanent basis last summer from the English premier league side Arsenal, BSN Reports.

Former MVV Maastricht player who was on the bench throughout the last game against Malaga was introduced in the 82nd minute for Javi Galan as Husca suffered a 1-2 home defeat to Mirandes.

Before moving to Husca, Nwakali spent last season at the team B Portuguese Primera Liga side FC Porto and made few appearances for them.

Despite, the defeat Husca remained in hunt for promotion ticket to the La Liga, placed 4th on the log with 53 points in 33 games
