SPL: Balogun In, Aribo Out For Hamilton Clash

By Sampson Adedeji

After missing the last two matches, Nigeria's Super Eagles Defender Leon Balogun is set to return to action for his Scottish premier league side Glasgow Rangers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Balogun alongside his compatriot midfielder Joe Aribo was unavailable for the club last two games due to injury.

The ahead coach of the team Steven Gerrard during press conference ahead of the Hamilton clash stated that Balogun will return while Aribo still out.

" Joe Aribo won’t make the Hamilton game and he should make the next game.

Leon Balogun is back available for selection," he said.

The absence of Aribo has been one that the Light Blues have felt the most with the Nigerian’s ingenuity and trickery sorely missed as teams try to stifle games against Rangers.

Balogun’s return could see Filip Helander return to the bench, although after impressing against Kilmarnock it might not be a move that fans agree with.
