By Sampson Adedeji

It was a mixed feeling for the head coach of Scottish Premier League side, Glasgow Rangers, Steven Gerrard as his team recorded an emphatic victory but lost one of his defenders, Nigeria international, Leon Balogun to injury, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Brighton and Hove Albion player made a return to the team in the last match against Livingstone before international break after game against Kilmarnock due to injury.

During a warm up footage clash against Dundee United on Saturday afternoon, Balogun pulled up and was forced to sit out the game. The Nigerian defender was replaced on the team sheet by Filip Helander.

Gerrard will be hoping that Balogun doesn't stay too long in the treatment room in order to continue his fine form for the club.

The Gers ended up winning the match 4-0 and continue their unbeaten streak for the season.
