SPL: Rangers Coach Confirm Balogun's Return From Injury Sampson Adedeji In readiness for the boxing day match against St. Mirren, the coach of Scottish champions Rangers, Giovanni Bronckhorst, has confirmed the resumption of injured Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The Nigeria centre-back has been out of action since injuring himself in the 3-1 loss to Hibs in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final on November 21 and has yet to play under the new manager. “Leon is joining us today in a session so we have to see if he’s fit enough to be available for Sunday and I think we have almost a full squad,” said the Rangers boss. Balogun return will gladden the heart of Suoer Eagles interim coach Austin Eguavoen as the preparations for the 2021 African Cup of Nations continues.
