The country’s players union, PFAN, has extended by two weeks a 90-day mandatory notice it handed the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to amend the NFF Statutes 2010 as it concerns composition of the NFF Congress, the NFF Executive Committee as well as the voting pattern of the federation.
In a letter to the NFF President, Amaju Pinnick and signed by former international Edema Fuludu, secretary of PFAN Project 2022 Task Force, the players reminded the NFF regarding the first mandatory notice for statutes amendment.
The NFF were tasked to make these changes to the amendments not later than September 25.
The players have therefore given the federation a two-weeks’ grace after which they said “failure again (by NFF) will leave us with no other option than to approach the relevant bodies to seek redress”.
