By Yinka Elebute Nigeria international and Lokomotiv Plovdiv defender in the Bulgaria league Stephen Eze, has gone back to his root the former Lobi Stars players who visited is mentor and father to show his appreciation to the former manager of the team Dominic Iofa who discovered him and gave him the break he needed in his career. I cannot forget my root and I only went back to say thank you to him for believing in my ability and the encouragement he gave me while I was with Lobi,  he is my father so I will always come back to him and I am glad I am making progress with my career. My stay with Lobi Stars was a great experience and I will always cherish my time in the team and if I was not giving the opportunity to play maybe I will still be playing on the street and you can see why I will always come back to him. For his love for me  Stephen Eze started his career with Lobi Stars of Makurdi where he has a glorious two seasons between 2012 to 2014 before moving to Sunshine Stars of Akure, where he also played for two seasons and his move to FC Ifeanyi Ubah of Nnewi was crowned with a trophy in 2017 and later played for Kano Pillars before moving oversea. He has played for the Nigeria National team in the CHAN competition in 2016 in Rwanda and he was also in the silver winning team in Morocco, he has had 11 caps for Nigeria, he was unlucky to make the final cut for the Super Eagles team to the World Cup in Russia.
