Stop Parading Yourselves As Kano FA Executives - Court Tells Kano FA Board Members

Kano High Court has granted an interlocutory injunction that restrained Kano Football Association leadership from parading themselves as an official of the football body as it also freezes the account of the body.

At the sitting of the court on Wednesday, the presiding Judge, Justice Usman Malam Na’aba granted the order following a suit filed by Muhammad Salisu Rabiu, faulting the last NFA election.

The court also freezes the Kano FA account number 0147055012 with FCMB and the account number 5852010828 with ECOBANK pending the final determination of the suit.

According to the court order made available to Solacebase, the defendants in the suit are Sharu Rabiu Ahlan, Ma’aruf Yakasai, Shehu Buhari, Kano FA, Kano Sports Commission, Aminu Muhammad Chana, Hassan A. Garo, Idris Rilwanu Malikawa, Usman Mustapha, Ibrahim Isah Odiye and Haliru Alasan Sumaila

The court order dated December 18th restrained the respondents either by themselves or agents from parading themselves as an elected executive of Kano Football Association.

Justice Usman Malam Na’aba then adjourned the matter for mentioning to January 7th
