Meanwhile, the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick said that the coach is still doing well, topping the group L table with a point and goal difference. Hence, no basis to sack the coach. To him, Gernot Rohr's statistics speaks volume for him to keep the job. He also admitted that the results from the last two games are not good enough but he should not be sacked based on the results.
