Sunday Dare Receives Para-Badminton Gold Medallist By Uche Dozie Nigeria Sport Minister, Sunday Dare received Badminton sensation, Eniola Bolaji who recently won Gold at the Spanish International Para Badminton Championships in his office in Abuja on Friday, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The 15-year-old paid a thank you call to the minister who singlehandedly sponsored her trip to Spain to participate in the event where she placed Nigeria on the global Badminton map. The minister expresses delight and congratulates Eniola and her late Coach Bello Rafiu who died a accident and Francis while promising continued support for athlete. The protege had won gold in the SL3 female Series at the 2021 Spanish Para Badminton International competition in Cartagena, Spain which qualified her for the world para Badminton tournament coming up in October in Japan. She also set another record by becoming the 1st African athlete to win Gold in the international championship.
