The 22-year-old former youth international has put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Prague-based side, in a deal that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2023/24 season. BSNSports.com.ng reports that the product of Shooting Stars of Ibadan will now aim to revive his career in Prague, as he links forces with his third European club, following spells at the Austrian duo of SCR Altach II and Wacker Innsbruck. It is also a chance for international revival for the member of Nigria’s Olympic Eagles’ squad to the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations, during which he got off the bench in the three group matches, before which he helped the home-based Eagles reach the final of the 2018 Championship of African Nations (CHAN). The crafty winger, who got 34 appearances for Wacker Innsbruck and scored four goals, is now thinking of lifting Dukla, who were relegated from the top league in Czech Republic two years ago, but they hope the former home-based Eagles star will fire them back to the top. Faleye declared after signing the dotted lines that he is ready to help his new team achieve their ambitions, adding: “I am excited to have become a part of Dukla. I will try to do my best on the field and help the team to get as many points as possible.” The Prague-based club’s sports director, Jan Stanek also interjected: “I am very happy that we managed to get our first target. We count a lot on Sunday; he increases our danger in attack. “He is very strong one on one and mainly seeks out these situations. Most teams defend against us, so we need players who can give us an advantage.”
