Sunusi Ibrahim Rates Canadian League Higher Than NPFL Sampson Adedeji Former Nigeria Professional Football League top scorer, Sunusi Ibrahim has rated the Canadian premier league higher than the NPFL, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Ibrahim left the country in 2020 after emerging as top scorer in the league with Nasarawa United. While speaking to ESPN, Ibrahim said they are better organised and further said his time will come in the national team. "The league is very different from the Nigerian league. It is much better and I had to take my time to understand it and to adapt to it. But now I know what I need to do, and I know that if I work hard and stay focused, I can do it." "My time will come to play for the national team and I know that that time is not very far away," Ibrahim said. He last played for the Super Eagles home-based team in an international friendly match against Mexico in the United State and it ended 4-0 in favour of the North Americans.
