Super Eagles Are Ready For 2019 AFCON - Pascal

Super Eagles coordinator, Patrick Pascal on Monday has said that the Nigeria senior national team is ready to take on any African country at the oncoming 2019 African Nations Cup slated for Egypt next month, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The former Nigeria international expressed confident in the present Eagles squad adding that their qualification for 2018 World Cup as well as the 2019 African Nations Cup is not a fluke.
The former 3sc defender while speaking with www.bsnsports.com.ng said: "We have a team now that can play against any team at the Nations Cup (AFCON) and come out winner. Our qualification for 2018 World Cup and 2019 African Nations Cup is not a fluke, we beat the best in the continent to pick the two tickets.
"Fortunately for Nigeria, the team and the coach have been together for a while and that strengthen the bond and understanding between the gaffer and players."
"Most of the players are starters in their respective European clubs and have had experience playing against Africans during the qualification series."
The 2019 African Nations Cup kicks off on Friday 1st June 2019 with the hosts, Egypt facing Zimbabwe at 9:00 pm.
Nigeria's Super Eagle will on Saturday 22nd June commence their AFCON campaign against debutant, Burundi at 6:00 pm.
Nigeria is in group B alongside, Burundi, Madagascar, and Guinea.
