Super Eagles Captain Set To Mark NPFL Return Against Adamawa United By Niyi Busari Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa will mark his return to the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, this weekend in Kano Pillars' match-day 21 home fixture against Adamawa United in Kaduna, BSNSports.com.ng can report. Ahmed Musa completed his move back to NPFL after he saw off his €16.5m contract with Saudi Arabia side, Al Nassr FC. He then remained unattached from October 2020 until April 14 when he signed for the 'Sai Masu Gida'. In a statement by the club's media officer, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa, said: "Kano Pillars will depart Warri on Monday morning back to Kano in preparation ahead of their home match against Adamawa United next Sunday. The match that Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, will start playing for the team this season." Kano Pillars occupy the second position on the log, same points (37) with Akwa United who are league leaders on goal difference. Pillar announced that the club signed eight players to help consolidate on club's target seeking the ticket for the CAF Inter-Club competition.
