Super Eagles Defender Joins FC Khimki

Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Brian Idowu continued his career in the Russia Premier League as his club Lokomotiv Moscow announced his loan move to another Russian side FC Khimki, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Idowu joined Lokomotive from Amkar Perm of Russia after the team suffered relegation in 2018.

After few days deliberations the two clubs agreed a loan move on friday afternoon till the end of the season.

He made 25 appearances for the capital based club with scoring .

Idowu was part of Nigeria's Super Eagles team to Russia 2018 World Cup under coach Gernot Rohr but failed to make 2019 African Cup Of Nations in Egypt due to injury.
