Super Eagles Defender Joins Finland's Third Division Club Sampson Adedeji Super Eagles defender Taye Taiwo has joined Finland third division club Palloilijat on a year deal, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Taiwo began his professional football career at Nigeria Division 1 club Gabros International before moving to Nigeria Premier League side, Lobi Stars. In January 2005, the left-footed player moved to France when he was signed by French club, Marseille, signing a three–year contract, The Finnish side announced his capture on Tuesday evening and the deal is expected to commence in January 2022. Former Queen Park Ranger player is not new to Finland's football as he has played for two teams, HJK Helsinki and Rops. During his spell at HJK, Taiwo scored twice in 32 appearances, while he netted 6 goals for Rops in 60 matches.
