Super Eagles Defender Mourns Slain Brother

Super Eagles defender Ebube Duru says he hopes to excel with Nigeria at the WAFU Nations cup more to honour his slain brother, who got caught in a cross fire shootout in School.

Duru’s younger brother, a young promising footballer was killed by cultists at the Auchi Polytechnic, on Tuesday.

“It’s very painful I have to just move on, I think it’s another thing now to make me double my effort,” the defender told footballlive.ng

“He told me before I travelled that he wants to play football to the highest level, he couldn’t achieve and I think that’s one thing I owe him so I’ll try my best and make sure I play this game to the highest level and make him proud.”
