Super Eagles Defender Pen Emotional Farewell Message To India Club

  By Sampson Adedeji Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Stephen Eze has penned emotional farewell message to the India premier league club Jamshedpur FC after the conclusion of the league season, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The 26 year old centre half started his professional career at Lobi Stars and spent two seasons, before moving to Sunshine Stars in September 2014. After two seasons with Sunshine, Eze joined Ifeanyi Ubah where he won Nigeria Super Cup in early 2017. On 9 November 2017, Eze joined Kano Pillars. After a good outing with Super Eagles B team, Eze joined Bulgaria side Lokomotiv Plodiv on a 2 year deal . Eze joined Kazakhstan Premier League club FC Tobol but injury sustained in a pre-season friendly meant he had to undergo an operation in Turkey. Eze parted ways with Tobol in July 2020. He joined Jamshedpur in 2020 and was outstanding for the club as he netted 4 goals in 19 matches. Eze announced his departure via its social media handle on Friday morning and at the same time appreciates the entire team of Jamshedpur. " I want to use this opportunity to say a massive thank you to the management, the technical crewin particular our gaffer Owen Coyle, my fellow players and our very amazing fans. The love and support I received at Jamshedpur FC was tremendous and it's an experience I will always remember. Despite the disappointment of not making the play off, i was heartened by the togetherness of the squad and the willingness to fight this till the end. You guys are extra special and I'll miss you all very much," he wrote.
