After months of absent from active football due to injury, Nigeria's Super Eagles right back Shehu Abdullahi has returned to full training.

Former Kano Pillars defender has been nursing injury that ruled him out of action for both club and country.

Shehu took to Twitter handle to post his resumption training picture with an inscription appreciating everyone who stood by him during his spell on the sideline.

" Positive energy and hard work. Looking forward to the league resumption.

"I appreciate the team doctor, coaching staff, management and my teammates for their support.

"Bursaspor fans for their prayers and my fans back home. Allah bless you all. We are @BursasporSk."

He missed most of Super Eagles AFCON qualifier due to the injury.
