Super Eagles Friendly Matches: Ebuehi Replaces Injured Ndidi

Super Eagles defender, Tyronne Ebuehi has been given a call-up as a replacement for injured Wilfred Ndidi.

The Nigeria national team head Coach, Gernot Rohr extended an invitation to Ebuehi to take part in the two international friendly matches against Algeria and Tunisia scheduled for Austria.

According to ESPN reports, Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr confirmed the new development while also lamenting the absence of Ndidi.

“We will miss him so much,” he continued.

“I have spoken to him, of course. He must be patient now and take his time to get well.”

The new call-up, Ebuehi played cameo role in Nigeria’s qualifying matches to Russia 2018, but eventually made the cut to the World Cup. He was a substitute player to Bryan Idowu in Nigeria’s defeat of Iceland.
