By Niyi Busari
Former Super Eagles skipper, Nwankwo Kanu has said that the Super Eagles have all it takes to win the 2019 African Nations Cup billed for Egypt in June, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
Kanu Nwakwo made this known while speaking with www.bsnsports.com.ng in Lagos at the Agege Township stadium during Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode's testimonial match. The former Arsenal forward says anyone who says Nigeria cannot win the African Nations Cup is disrespecting the giant of Africa adding that all other countries at the competition are afraid of Super Eagles.
"It is a good one, we are here to help the national team coach to win the Nations Cup. It is not about me thinking whether Nigeria can win AFCON. Which other country can win it, if not Nigeria?
"Anyone who says Nigeria is afraid of Egypt, Cote d'Ivoire, Senegal, or that we cannot win the title is disrespecting Nigeria. They are the one to afraid of Nigeria. We are not afraid of anybody."
Nigeria's Super Eagles are in group B alongside Burundi, Madagascar and Guinea.
