Super Eagles invitation excite Otabor, promise to give best

Newly invited Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Solomon Otabor is still in cloud nine following his late invitation to the national team ahead of the international friendly match against Brazil.

BSN reports, CSKA Sofia of Bulgaria player was handed an invitation after Girondin Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu was ruled out after he sustained injury last week.

He further said he is ready to learn from the senior players in the team and also prove his mettle among the players.

“It is an honour for me and I am very happy for the call-up,” he said.

“I will learn a lot from the senior players in the team and if am given the opportunity I will definitely give my best.”

“It is not easy to make it into the National team so I am very happy for the invitation," he stated.

Before moving to Bulgaria, Otabor has represented English championship side Birmingham city.
