By Sampson Adedeji

Former Nigeria's Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has ruled himself out of returning to the team anytime soon.

The former Juventus of Italy midfielder was in charge of the team between 2015 and 2016 before he tendered his resignation letter due to unresolved issues between himself and Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), BSN Reports.

Though the position of the Super Eagles head coach is not vacant but rumour has been on that present coach of the team Gernot Rohr might not sign extension with the team.

Oliseh revelead his position via his Instagram handle, that he has lost interest in handling the team due to unhealthy atmosphere around the team.

" No, I don’t have the intention of ever coaching the (Super) Eagles again. I loved working with the boys, I love coaching my country, but the atmosphere around it was no longer healthy.

“I didn’t want the job anymore. Health-wise I was not feeling too good; secondly, we were owed salaries. I was spending money on my health and on my team. I just couldn’t die on the job," he said.

In his playing days, Oliseh has 52 caps for Nigeria and scoring twice.
