Super Eagles Midfielder Injured In League Match Sampson Adedeji Swedish side Malmo FF was held at home in a league game on Saturday by Norkopping in a game Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Innocent Bonnke was forced off halfway into the first half, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Bonnke was the cynosure of all eyes in the Nigeria's Super Eagles 1-2 away win over Blue Sharks of Cape Verde in the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifier. He returned to his club on time to be selected for the weekend home game against visiting Norkopping. After impressive performance earlier in the game, Bonnke sustained an injury and had to be substituted in the 23rd minute for Nanasi. The game ended 1-1 as Malmo continue to prepare for their participation in the Uefa champions league that will commence next week. Bonnke will have to undergo a test to ascertain the level of his injury and if he will be available for the game Italia side Juventus next week.
