Super Eagles Midfielder Joins Spanish Second Divison Club Sampson Adedeji Spanish second division side, CF Fuenlabrada, have captured Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder, Mikel Agu, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The former FC Porto player terminated his contract with the Portuguese club, Vitoria Guimaraes, on mutual consent and moved to the Spanish club. Agu was signed by the Porto Academy after standing out at Megapp CF and attracting the interest of scouts from different teams in Europe. At Porto he progressed until he settled in the subsidiary and made his debut with the first team. In 2015-16 he went on loan to Brugges from the first Belgian club. A season later, he played on loan at Vitoria Setubal in the highest category of Portugal and had a prominent role. In 2017-2018 he played for Bursaspor in the first division of Turkey and in his last two seasons he has been part of Vitoria Guimaraes. In total, he has accumulated 77 games in the Portuguese first division, to which he adds 23 clashes in the first in Turkey. In addition, the midfielder has played five games in the Europa League, all with Vitoria Guimaraes.
