Super Eagles Moves Step Up In Latest FIFA rankings

Despite not playing matches in the last 5 months, Nigeria's Super Eagles has moved up by two step in the latest FIFA ranking released on Thursday morning, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria last played in the 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier against Benin Republic and Lesotho before corona virus disrupted football activities across the world.

The three-time African champions ranked 31st in the month of August are now ranked 29th in the world by the world soccer governing body.

Nigeria amassed 1453 points to also place third in the Africa ranking behind Senegal and Tunisia.

The next ranking has been fixed for October 22, 2020.
