Super Eagles Player Ratings In 3-1 Victory Over Sudan By Our Reporter Nigeria recorded her second win in the 2021 African Cup of Nations with a 3-1 victory over Sudan. With six points in two matches, Nigeria are currently on top of Group D of the 2021 African Cup of Nations. With two wins, the Super Eagles have booked their spot in the next rounds of the tournament. Samuel Chukwueze gave Nigeria an early lead scoring a goal three minutes into the game. Taiwo Awoniyi scored his first AFCON goal to make the scores 2-0 few minutes to the end of the first half. The first half of the game ended with Nigeria having a 2-0 lead over Sudan. Moses Simon extended Nigeria's lead with a goal at 46 minutes. Sudan however scored a consolation goal at 70 minutes to end the match at 3-1.
