Super Eagles Players To Receive Bonus, Allowance in Naira - NFF

President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Amaju Pinnick said that Super Eagles players will henceforth receive their match bonus and allowance in Nigeria currency, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

This came after the federation announced that Super Eagles coach must receive his salary in Naira if his contract which ends in June 2020 must be extended. Pinnick on Monday revealed that the federation need to change certain policy to help the currency has more value.

In his words, "The players, the way they play in Nigeria. Their bonus have always been paid in Naira. But when they play abroad they were paid in Dollar." Pinnick said on Channels TV.

"But that can even change. This time, we need to take many drastic decision that will go across board to promote our Fiscal policy."

NFF last week, included three conditions which the Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr must accept for extension of his contract. The three conditions includes, Rohr must leave in Nigeria, receives his salary in naira and monitor the progress and performance of the home based players in the Nigerian leagues for national team invitation.
