The Super Eagles of Nigeria will break up their pre-World Cup camp in Austria on Monday and head for Russia aboard a chartered flight ahead of their opening group game against Croatia on June 16.
The Three time African Champions have spent six days at the Bad Tatzmanndsdorf resort in Austria where they are finalising their preparations for the Russia 2018 World Cup.
BSN Sports gathered that they will be departing Austria in great confidence and with great expectation ahead of the World Cup despite losing their two warm up games to England and Czech Republic.
“We will leave Austria for Russia in great expectation on Monday and I enjoin Nigerian to support the team as we try to make the nation proud,” a camp source revealed to BSN.
Nigeria will use the city of Yessentuki as their base camp for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia according to the governor of the Stavropol Territory where Yessentuki is located, Vladimir Vladimirov.
Yessentuki is a city in Stavropol Krai, Russia, located at the base of the Caucasus Mountains.
Nigeria will face Croatia in their opening game on the 16th of June before battling Iceland and Argentina on the 22nd and 26th of June aiming to reach the second round of the competition a fourth time.
