Super Eagles of Nigeria trio Joe Aribo, Leon Balogun and Calvin Bassey were on action for Glasgow Rangers football club of Scotland on Wednesday night, as they defeated St. Johnstone FC 1-0 at McDiarmid Park Stadium, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Nigerian internationals were given starting roles by coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst, and they were able to perform excellently in the game. Leon Balogun started in his team's defence line alongside Calvin Bassey, while Joe Aribo started in the attacking midfield alongside Ryan Kent and Scott Arfield and they were all outstanding in the entertaining encounter. Glasgow Rangers football club took the lead through Finland national team star Glen Kamara in the 3rd minutes after receiving an assist from Alfredo Morelos to end the first half 1-0. Both teams tried so hard to score more goals in the second half of the game, but all their efforts were not successful, as the match ended 1-0. Joe Aribo, Leon Balogun and Calvin Bassey were impressive for the away team throughout the whole duration of the game, and they were able to contribute their quotas to the team's victory. The 1-0 victory over St. Johnstone football club has now taken Glasgow Rangers football club to the second spot of the Scottish Premier League table with 67 points from 29 matches played.
