Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) Amaju Melvin Pinnick has stated that Nigeria's Super Eagles will move around the country to play its matches, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Super Eagles will host Crocodiles of Lesotho in the final match day of the 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos which makes many believed that they will remain in the state for subsequent games.
Pinnick while speaking to ElegbeteTV an online television, he explained more on the situtation.
" Lagos cannot be the centre host for the Super Eagles because there are other states, we can go to Kano, Uyo, Benin, Kaduna etc, it depends on what is on ground.
We are happy that we are playing in Lagos. Lagos is the centre for excellence and there is no way you can take football away from Lagos.
Nigeria Football has gone beyond playing in one city for now, there are various reasons you take teams to various part of the country.
It's good that Teslim Balogun is being upgraded but they need to do more just when we played at Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin, is good stadium but there still somethings that need to be put in place," he stated.
