Super Eagles World Cup List: Eze, Ajiboye, Uche Agbo, Simon and Uche Agbo Dropped Two more To Go

Super
By Niyi Busari After several delay on the five players to be dropped before Super Eagles leave for London to tango with Three Lions of England on Saturday, the NFF has finally announced the names of the 'unlucky' players wwwbsnsports.com.ng reports. Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has released the names of the five dropped players to the NFF, here they are; Moses Simon, Dele Ajiboye, Stephen Eze, Junior Lokosa, and Uche Agbo. Moses Simon who played a pivotal role in the Super Eagles world cup qualifiers was dropped due to hamstrings injury. The KAA Gent of Belgium will be missed by the team and Nigerians because of his fast and terrorizing move on the flank. We wish him all the best in career. Dele Ajiboye, Plateau United goalkeeper was one of the surprise name found on the 30-man world cup list when it was released by the NFF. He shown at the CHAN competition in Morocco when he came in to replace Ikechukwu Ezenwa against Sudan in the semi final. It is expected by many football followers that he will be the one to be dropped out of the four invited goalkeepers. Stephen Eze was a revelation at the CHAN 2018 in Morocco as he was solid rock in the Super Eagles defense. Little wonder that he secured a new deal from his NPFL team to PFC Lkomotiv Plovdiv even before the competition ended. He was unable to beat the likes of the 'oyinbo defense' Leon Balogu and William Ekong, 'the experience one' and Chelsea loanee Kenneth Omeruo, and Awaziem Chinedu in the centre defense and have to be dropped. Junior Lokosa, NPFL revelation, hot shot that was invited having scored eighteen (18) goals from twenty (20) games in the 2017/18 NPFL season. He deserved the 30-man world cup list but difficult to break into the 23-man world cup list. Making the 30-man list is enough morale booster not only for him but also the other home based players who dream to play for the national team. He has to do magic as to beating the likes of Odion Ighalo, Simeon Nwakwo, Kelechi Iheanacho to make the 23 man final cut. Uche Agbo, it is really unbelievable that a player like Agbo, Watford of England player but on loan to Standard Liege in Belgium was invited more than ten times to the Super Eagles but never tasted action for once. Football pundit believe that Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr would have played in the Nigeria Vs DR Congo international friendly for Nigerians to see how good or bad he is, but hey, he never played for over ten invites to the national camp. The defensive midfielder has to do more next for him to beat the likes of Wilfred Ndidi, assistant captain Onazi and Joel Obi. As it is, twenty five players will be on chartered flight to England to play in a friendly game against England. After the game before Super Eagles leave for Russia in their final preparation ahead of the world cup finals, Two more players will be dropped. Who are these players? Who do you think should be dropped?
